This Privacy Policy applies to information collected by EloAppz when you visit our website, sign up for the platform, use our dashboard, APIs, SDKs, voice and WhatsApp services, or interact with our support team. It is intended to be read together with our Terms & Conditions.
02.Information We Collect
Account & contact information: name, work email, phone number, business name, designation, billing address, GSTIN.
Service configuration: users you invite, IVR flows, chatbot scripts, contact lists you upload, integration credentials.
Communication content: recorded calls, voicemail, WhatsApp/SMS message content and delivery receipts, transcripts produced by our AI features, strictly to deliver and improve the Service for you.
Usage data: dashboard activity, API logs, IP address, device and browser information, cookies, performance metrics.
Payment metadata: payment gateway tokens and invoice history; we do not store full card numbers ourselves.
What this means for you
We collect only what's needed to run the Service for you, no profiling, no resale, no opaque data brokerage.
03.How We Use Information
- To provide, maintain, secure and improve the EloAppz platform.
- To deliver onboarding, customer support and account communications.
- To bill for usage, prevent fraud and meet financial reporting obligations.
- To detect abuse, enforce our Terms and protect users from harm.
- To comply with applicable law and respond to lawful requests from authorities.
- With your consent, to send product updates and educational content (you can opt out at any time).
04.Legal Basis (DPDP Act, 2023)
We process personal data on the legal bases of consent, performance of contract, legitimate use for delivering services you have requested, and compliance with legal obligations. Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.

05.Information About Your End-Users
When you upload contact lists or send messages through EloAppz, you act as the data fiduciary (controller) and EloAppz acts as the data processor. You are responsible for obtaining all required consents from your end-users. We will only use that data on your documented instructions, to deliver the Service, and to meet our legal obligations.

A clean controller/processor split keeps your data ownership intact and your compliance posture defensible.
08.Data Security
We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest for sensitive data, role-based access control, audit logging, vulnerability scanning and least-privilege production access. No system is perfectly secure; we maintain an incident response plan and will notify affected customers and regulators where required by law.

Concrete, named safeguards, not vague promises, so you can answer your own customers' security questions confidently.
09.Data Retention
We retain personal data while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After termination, we delete or anonymise personal data within a reasonable window, subject to legal retention requirements (for example, tax records and call-data records mandated by telecom regulations). Backups are purged on a rolling schedule.
10.International Transfers
Your data is primarily processed in India. Some sub-processors may process data outside India under contractual safeguards consistent with the DPDP Act and applicable data-transfer rules. We will not transfer personal data to any country restricted by the Government of India for such transfers.
11.Your Rights
Under the DPDP Act and applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, complete, update or erase your personal data, to nominate a person to exercise your rights, and to grievance redressal. To exercise any right, write to us at connect@eloappz.com. We respond to verified requests within statutory timelines.

12.Children's Data
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can delete it.
13.Updates to this Policy
We may update this Policy as the Service or applicable law evolves. Material changes will be notified through the dashboard or by email at least 14 days in advance, where reasonable.
14.Grievance Officer
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules thereunder, our Grievance Officer can be reached at connect@eloappz.com.
